👋 Hi, I’m Preeti Verma

I’m an AI researcher and robotics enthusiast, passionate about building systems that perceive, learn, and act in the real world.

Currently, I’m contributing to AI-powered glucose control systems at Micelab, University of Girona, where we translate machine learning into personalized healthcare solutions. Previously, I completed the Erasmus Mundus Master’s in Intelligent Field Robotic Systems (IFRoS) — spanning Spain and Hungary.
I hold a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from AMU, India, graduating in the top 5% of my class.

🧠 Research Vision

My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD in AI & Robotics, building autonomous systems that are:

  • 🔍 Perceptive: capable of real-time understanding of their environment
  • 🧠 Adaptive: learning from experience to improve over time
  • 🦾 Interactive: collaborating meaningfully with humans
  • 🩺 Helpful: applied in critical areas like assistive tech and healthcare
  • 🔐 Trustworthy: robust, explainable, and ethically grounded

📝 Selected Work & Publications

My research spans:

  • 🤖 Autonomous Navigation & SLAM
  • 🧬 Medical Image Analysis & QA Systems
  • 📦 Multi-modal Transformers for Medical NLP
  • 🧠 Reinforcement Learning for Control
  • 🛰️ Sensor Fusion & Perception Pipelines

You can find my contributions in top venues like MICCAI 2024, ECAI 2023, and LREC-COLING 2024.

💬 Beyond the Code

I care deeply about:

  • 🤝 Open collaboration
  • 🛠️ Applied AI that solves real-world problems
  • 👩‍🏫 Mentorship and inclusive research culture
  • ⚖️ Responsible, ethical AI development

“The best way to predict the future is to invent it.”
And I aim to invent a future where machines truly understand.
